Last year at this time, organizers were preparing for the concert in honor of the late Carey Kopp to raise money to support her battle with cancer.

Kopp was a longtime choir director at Lincoln High School.

Benefit organizers Lisa Wallerich and Amy Rogness said they “were overwhelmed with the support and sense of community this concert generated. The love this community showed for each other was amazing.”
