4-H judging teams competed three times in preparation for the state fair
The Wabasha County 4-H dairy judging teams competed in three contests throughout the summer in preparation for the Minnesota State fair contest.
First was Winona County Fair where the Senior Team of Blake Siewert, Ashley and Emily Mellgren and Nolan Kruger placed first. The next contest was Fillmore County followed by the Steele County contest. At the Steel County contest the senior team of Ashley and Emily Mellgren, Blake Siewert and Nolan Kruger placed first and Roger Mellgren placed 7th individually.
