Amanda Halls to discuss super foods March 21

The Lake City Public Library (LCPL) invites the public to come and learn more about healthy “super” foods that will benefit their brain function and overall health and well-being. This event, led by Amanda Halls, RD, LD Mayo Clinic Lake City, takes place on Thursday, March 21, at 4:30 p.m. at the LCPL.
Some of the specific topics Amanda will address include antioxidants and their sources, naturally occurring phytochemicals, fibers that help reduce disease, Omega 3 fatty acids, and 10 common super foods everyone should know.
