Another food distribution planned for April 9
Organizers are expecting a shipment of 400 boxes of food Friday, April 9, from Channel One Food Bank for the next pop-up food distribution event. The event will begin at 11 a.m. at Underwood Park in Lake City. The park is on North 10th Street across the street from the Lake City Public Safety Building.
Boxes include protein, dairy, eggs, vegetables, and fruit. They are available at no charge to anyone impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. There are no residency requirements. LED lightbulbs provided by the United Way will also be distributed at the event.
