Arbor Day event is May 15 in Patton Park

In recognition of the importance of trees to the aesthetic and well-being of our community, the public is invited to join us for this year’s May 15, 10 a.m. celebration of Arbor Day in Patton Park.

Lake City Forestry Advisory Committee has chosen this historic park for this event, not only because it was the first public park in Lake City, but also because it contains many beautiful historic trees, from the original design laid out by renowned landscape architect Frank Nutter.
