Art center will offer stained glass class
Requests for evening stained glass classes are being answered at the Lake City Area Arts (LCAA) center beginning April 30, at 6:30 p.m. A series of four classes will be held, led by Nancy Zimmerman.
The class will teach people how to build a stained glass panel using the copper foil method. Each student will choose from a variety of selected patterns. They will learn how to prepare their pattern, cut glass, foil and solder. The pieces will end up being framed in lead came, either black or copper patina will be applied before doing the final cleaning.
