Community choir performs to hundreds at spring concert
An estimated 250-300 people attended the Lake City Community Choir’s spring concert Sunday, April 12, in the Lincoln High School auditorium.
The choir moved to a larger venue this spring after drawing a capacity crowd last fall in the ballroom at City Hall.
“We didn’t fill up the auditorium,” said Jim Rahm of Lake City Area Arts (LCAA). “But it was a bigger crowd than could have fit in City Hall.”
The choir rehearses weekly at the Lake City Area Arts center, and Rahm, an LCAA board member, has been a stalwart supporter.
