Enger - School restroom project attracting interest from other districts

A project to replace the oldest restrooms at Lincoln High School with single-occupant, gender-neutral restrooms is in progress at Lincoln High School.

Instead of a girls’ restroom on the upper floor and a boys’ restroom on the lower floor, as in the past, the new configuration will have a row of individual restrooms with a communal wash area.

At the School Board meeting on June 15, Supt. Erick Enger said gender neutral restrooms are becoming increasingly common.
