First annual Music Showcase a success

Organizers of the first annual Lake City Music Showcase felt the event was an all-around success.
The weather Saturday, Sept. 19, was sunny and warm. People came to Patton Park throughout the day to enjoy live music provided for free by musicians from Lake City and other communities. And a new fund to help young musicians pay for music-related expenses raised over $1,500.
