Free PTSD books and therapy available for veterans
The mission of Lake City charity Veterans Empowered Inc. is to prevent suicide and impaired driving among veterans. The organization is headed and staffed by unpaid disabled veterans in long term recovery from post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Dr. Steve Lansing, President and Executive Director, has been treating veterans for over fifty years. Coauthor and Secretary/Treasurer B. Wayne Quist is a 100% disabled Vietnam veteran and published author.
