Friends of Hok-Si-La celebrate summer with fires, bubbles, and sand scultpure
Grandparents, parents and children celebrated a summer evening at Hok-Si-La Park on June 30.
This was the first family event sponsored by Friends of Hok-Si-La with the goal to have fun and learn about the park. Activities included a scavenger hunt involving sites around the park, making s’mores over a fire, singing common campfire songs and making lots and lots of crazy bubbles.
Special thanks to Esther Gullixson, from the band Trifecta, who led the group in songs.
