For healthcare workers, coffee is on Lake City church

The Lake City United Methodist Church would like to show their appreciation to our healthcare workers with a free coffee at the Railhouse Coffee Depot.

Pastor Phil Schmidt said: “Our health care workers are going above and beyond their normal work to keep us safe. They are working long hours and putting themselves at risk to keep ahead of COVID-19. I know this will not change their lives, but hope the appreciation helps make a difference.”

The Railhouse Coffee Depot is partnering with the United Methodist Church to make this possible.

Pastor Phil Schmidt said: “The Railhouse Coffee Depot is all in on this. They are going all out to support our health care workers. This outreach would be impossible with the partnership of the Railhouse Coffee Depot.” v

Free coffee is offered to doctors, nurses, EMTs, ambulance personnel, and all who work at hospitals and clinics. To receive a coffee or beverage, employees can show a badge at the Coffee Depot.
