Higher ed officials meet here for strategic planning

A group of higher education officials from Minnesota State (formerly known as Minnesota State Colleges and Universities) met in Lake City last week for off-site strategic planning.

Cabinet members received a welcome from Lake City Mayor Mark Nichols on Wednesday, July 31. City Administrator Rob Keehn also attended.

“I welcomed them to our fine city and provided them with a brief talk about the history of the area as well as the mission of our city,” Nichols said in an email.
