Ice fishing contests to be on dry land
Frontenac Sportsman’s Club and Lake City Sportsman’s Club have announced that their annual ice fishing contest fundraisers won’t be on the ice this year.
“Due to the ice conditions, we will not be able to hold the ice fishing contest on Frontenac Pond,” the Frontenac Sportsman’s Club said in a Facebook Post.
Instead, the event will be at the Frontenac Community Center, 30301 Territorial Rd., which is just outside of Frontenac off Goodhue County Road 2.
