Kehren brothers fly together on Freedom Honor Flight

Larry Kehren and Orie Kehren, brothers from Lake City, both served in the Vietnam War.

On Saturday, Sept. 21, they were honored for their service by taking a Freedom Honor Flight from La Crosse, Wis., to Washington, D.C., to see the memorials erected there to honor members of the U.S. armed forces.

The 31st Freedom Honor Flight departed from La Crosse with 98 Veterans on board. There were seven Korean War Veterans, 90 Vietnam War Veterans and one World War II Veteran.
