Lake City, a reader’s paradise
In case you haven’t heard, Lake City now has a bookshop. Doghouse Books was introduced to us at the Lake City Farmer’s Market last summer by Alex Cannon, book pusher and proprietor, who sold and gave away books by the dozens. She now has space for Doghouse Books next to Fashion and Fun and Papa Tronnio’s Pizza on Washington Street. She has been open on weekends since April and will have a Grand Opening on Saturday May 17. (There will be cookies! And there will also be novels by author J.M. Cannon, Alex’s son.)
