Legion baseball loses another one-run game
After being canceled on Monday, June 20, against Zumbrota-Mazeppa due to the heat advisory, Lake City American Legion Post 110 was back in action on Thursday, June 23 against Hayfield American Legion Post 330 at Bill Kieffer Field. Lake City lost by a final score of 5-4.
Hayfield started the scoring in the top of the second inning, scoring 1 run on 3 hits and a walk, and tallying on two more in the top of the third inning on 5 hits and a walk to take a 3-0 lead.
