Letter: Lions experience joy of being part of something good

To the editor:

On Saturday, July 21, a group of Lake City Lions attended the Wabasha County Fair in Wabasha to assist with the Tractor Pedal Pull.

This is an annual event for children ages three to twelve, who compete by sitting on a small tractor and pedaling it as far as they can. The tractor is weighted and the children pull a wagon behind the tractor. It is a challenging task, and the children are very competitive.
