Letter: Park music is a history we'd be blessed to repeat

To the editor:

In the past few weeks there has been a few letters in the Graphic in regard to the proposed new band shell. I’d like to weigh in on this debate.

The band shell should be in Patton Park somewhere near the gazebo. I know that Lake Pepin and the waterfront is our most valuable asset, but the lake is for boats, fish, hang gliders, and scenic views, not music.

We have a lot of talented musicians in this town, let’s show them off a bit more.

The gazebo should stay; that is a part of history.
