Library to offer nutrition sessions with Amanda Halls
The Lake City Public Library (LCPL) will host nutrition sessions with Amanda Halls, RDN, LD with Mayo Clinic Health System in Lake City on Jan. 10, 17, 24 and 31, at 4:30 p.m.
People are invited to attend one or more of these free informational sessions on healthy meal planning, healthy cooking, fats in foods, and healthy choices when dining out.
Jan. 10: My plate, healthy meal planning and how to read a food label.
Jan. 17: Healthy cooking for one or two, includes recipes.
Jan. 24: Fats in foods.
Jan. 31: Dining out: how to make healthy choices.
