Locals prepare to honor veterans on Memorial Day

Memorial Day is May 29, and local groups have announced their plans to honor veterans with public observances that day.
The Lake City Memorial Day program begins at 10 a.m. in the Lincoln High School Auditorium in Lake City. It features speeches, music, and prayer.
The Zumbro Falls VFW will conduct Memorial Day services at several cemeteries and one bridge on Memorial Day.
