Lots of trick or treat options in Lake City

Halloween events are materializing out of the spooky ether.
Downtown businesses are getting ready for the eighth annual Trick or Treat on Washington Street on Oct. 31, Halloween. Families can trick-or-treat at participating businesses from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Jil Garry, the owner of Treats and Treasures and one of the organizers of the event, said business owners and parents often wear costumes as well.
