Marina Point residents collect $1,035 for 4th of July fireworks

Residents of Marina Point in Lake City collected a total of $1,035 from their neighbors to support the efforts of continuing July 4 fireworks in Lake City.

The Lake City Lions took over the fireworks campaign after a one-year hiatus. Sufficient funds have been raised to produce the fireworks display over Lake Pepin on July 4.

The display will begin about 10 p.m.
