Masons donate fire suppression devices to police department

On Thursday, Sept. 19, Masons from Carnelian Lodge 40 in Lake City made a donation to the Lake City Police Department that’s intended to help save lives.

“It’s to save lives,” said Lodge Senior Warden Bruce Whitcomb.

Officers are often the first emergency responders to reach the scene of a fire.

“If there’s people in danger, you throw one of these in to get the people out,” he said.
