Seven years ago, three female students who did not participate in winter sports asked Tom Horner, one of Lincoln High’s physical education teachers, to help them with weightroom workouts. 

Horner created a customized workout. Shortly after trying it out, the students shared that they were having challenges building confidence in the weightroom and needed feedback on technique and form.
