Memorial Day motorcycle crash injures one

On Monday, May 25, at around 3:30 p.m., a 2007 Yamaha Motorcycle traveling southbound on Highway 61 left the roadway and crashed near milepost 69 in Pepin Township, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The 45-year-old male from St. Paul driving the motorcycle was wearing a helmet and was taken to the Lake City Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Responders included the Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office, Lake City Police, Lake City Fire Department, and Lake City Ambulance Service.
