Oak savanna restoration announced at state park

The volunteer-led Frontenac State Park Association will implement an oak savanna restoration project in Frontenac State Park with support from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and funds issued by Parks and Trails Council of Minnesota.
The project will include volunteer opportunities for community members at events throughout the summer and fall. The first planting event is set for June 2.
