PMI experiencing a growth spurt at age 30
As Pepin Manufacturing, Inc. (PMI), celebrates 30 years since first opening at 1875 Hwy. 61 S. in Lake City, work is underway on an expansion that will add about 13,000 square feet.
The addition alone is more than double the size of the original 5,000 square foot building.
Todd Solberg remembers doing assembly work in that building in the mid-1990s while he was in late high school and early college.
“There were four of us at the table, and we would just one-piece flow all the way through,” he said.
