Sailing for Leukemia event weighs anchor this weekend

The Lake City Yacht Club’s annual Sailing for Leukemia event is this weekend.
“Our annual sail Leukemia fundraiser is where we share our love of sailing with the community,” the club said.
For a $20 per-person donation ($15 for children ages 12 and under), people can go on a 90-minute sailing excursion on Lake Pepin. Participants under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. All proceeds from the event benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
