Santa Paws not immune to COVID-19
There won’t be a Santa Paws tree at the Lake City Public Library this year for people who want to buy gifts for pets awaiting adoption.
“The Hiawatha Animal Humane Society and the Lake City Public Library regret to announce that we must cancel our traditional co-sponsored Santa Paws Tree this year due to the challenges of COVID-19 that necessitate the closure of the library building for the protection of our community members,” the society said.
