State park candlelight hike is Feb. 24
The public is invited to hike by candlelight at Frontenac State Park on Feb. 24.
The park’s annual candlelight hike, ski, snowshoe event is Saturday, Feb. 24, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
People can “drop by any time between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. for a hike, snowshoe or cross-country ski (snow conditions permitting) as stars twinkle overhead and candles flicker. Warm up at campfires at either end of the trail or enjoy some light refreshments by the wood stove in the warming shelter,” the Department of Natural Resources said in a news release.
