Students, colleagues, fellow musicians mourn teacher Carey Kopp

Lake City Public Schools notified staff, students, and parents Sept. 26 that Carey Kopp, who for over two decades was the vocal music teacher at Lincoln High School, had died earlier that morning “with her family and close friends by her side,” according to Lincoln High School Principal Greg Berge.
