Students raise $4,000 for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Bluff View students presented a check for $4,000 to the Pennies for Patients school program for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Last year this organization raised $40.3 million for research and to support families with education and support

Aaron Breyfogle and his children Teagan, Huxley, and Kenedi were part of the kick-off assembly sharing with students the impact blood cancer has had on their family. Kenedi and her twin sister, Kendal Mae, were both diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in 2015. Kendal died in September, 2017.
