Wabasha County Forestry Day is Feb. 14
Wabasha County Forestry Day will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 14 at the Zumbro Falls VFW.
The event includes prizes and presentations on forestry topics.
At 10 a.m. Terry Helbig will present a history of the Richard J. Dorer Memorial Hardwood Forest, which covers more than a million acres in Dakota, Winona, Olmsted, Houston and Fillmore Counties.
Department of Natural Resources forester Jim Edgar will speak on public lands at 10:45 a.m.
