Winter Emergency Kit program is Dec. 5 at public library

The Lake City Public Library (LCPL) invites the public on Monday, Dec. 5, at 2 p.m., to a Winter Emergency Kit program led by Officer Aaron Foss of the Lake City Police Department.

Attendees will learn what they can do to stay safe in their cars during the winter, specifically, tips on how to winterize their cars, how to create a winter car emergency kit, what to do if they’re stranded, and how to identify risks prior to traveling, according to a news release.

This event is free and open to the public. No registration is needed.
