Woman’s Club seeks scholarship applicants

Each year, the Woman’s Club of Lake City (WCLC) awards two scholarships, and this year they have increased to $1,500 each.

Each spring, a scholarship is awarded to a young woman graduating from Lincoln High. Each August, a scholarship is awarded to an adult woman who is working to enhance her job skills, pursuing a career change, or pursuing career advancement.

To be considered for the $1,500 adult woman scholarship, the applicant must:

• Reside in the Lake City consolidated school district.
