2019-2020 school year begins Sept. 3
Summer break comes to an end for most students in the Lake City School District when the school year begins Tuesday, Sept. 3.
A district-wide staff workshop day took place Tuesday at Bluff View Elementary School which, for the first time in over a year, is not under construction.
Earlier this week, construction management firm Kraus-Anderson announced that the $12 million expansion project at the school is complete (see related story).
Staff members had breakfast in the new cafeteria then toured the rest of the expansion.
