Council unanimous in support of Three Rivers housing plan

The Lake City City Council on June 14 unanimously approved three motions related to an affordable housing development proposed by Three Rivers Community Action.

The 32 unit complex dubbed “Underwood Terrace” would house a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units and would be located on North 10th Street between the community gardens and the city’s public safety building. All of the units will be rented at below market rates and subject to income limitations.
