County approves property value adjustment

Wabasha County’s Board of Commissioners during a special meeting on April 25 approved the correction of state-assessed property values for taxes payable in 2025.
The County Board acknowledged the clerical error and gave its approval for the Assessor’s Office and Auditor-Treasurer to proceed with the corrections as outlined, and to notify impacted taxing jurisdictions.
The estimated reduction of tax revenue is $206,800 across impacted jurisdictions.
