Goodhue County Administrative Assistant Stacy Thuman reported that the county received two proposals on Jan. 14 to provide security systems for all of Goodhue County’s government buildings. The low bid of $494,188 was received from Parallel Technologies, Inc. and the high bid of $597,744 from Parsons Technology, Inc.
Senior Technology Consultant Brandon Frazier of Elert and Associates, in St. Paul, was in attendance at the Jan. 19 meeting. He has been looking at the break-down costs for each of the security systems, and ways to reduce those costs.
