Treats and Treasures was a busy place Saturday afternoon during the Girls Day Out shopping event in Lake City.
“This is like the first Girls Day Out,” shop owner Jil Garry said. “It warms your heart.”
It was Garry who brought the idea for the event to Lake City after seeing something similar in western Minnesota, she said.
It was a little town with just three shops, but it was so crowded that she had to park three blocks away.
