Keehn to be city administrator in Lake City

A former Lake City city planner will be the city’s next administrator.

The City Council voted unanimously April 7 to offer the administrator job to Rob Keehn after interviewing Keehn and two other candidates. On April 9 the council unanimously approved an employment contract with Keehn.

Mayor Mark Nichols said the council had “three outstanding candidates” to choose from (two of the five finalists withdrew from consideration and were not interviewed) and any of them would have been a good fit for the job.
