A message to Graphic readers about the pandemic:
In an effort to protect the health and safety of our employees and customers during the current situation involving the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lake City Graphic and Shopper office will be closed to the public until further notice.
You can contact us by phone at 651-345-3316 and by email at news@lakecitygraphic.com or ads@lakecitygraphic.com. Payments, news and advertising submissions may also be made by mail to Lake City Graphic, PO Box 469, Lake City, MN 55041 or in the drop box at the front of our building at 111 South Eighth Street.
We will continue to produce and deliver print copies of the Lake City Graphic and Lake City Shopper as the situation allows. Print copies of the Graphic and Shopper will be available at select retail locations, also as the situation allows.
The Graphic and Shopper are printed and prepared for delivery at RiverTown Publications in Red Wing. Our ability to produce the print versions of the Graphic and Shopper is dependent upon their situation. The following is an excerpt of a message to their subscribers relating to delivery challenges that could also impact our ability to produce our publications:
“In the event a significant number of our employees, or a large number of independent contractors who deliver our products, were to contract the virus, delivery of our printed products could be interrupted in certain areas, or in its entirety. Our ability to print, and deliver, our newspapers, shoppers, magazines and other specialty publications could also be interrupted as a result of supply chain disruptions, including the ability to obtain newsprint, ink and other key consumables needed in the printing process.”
The Lake City Graphic and Shopper are delivered by the U.S. Postal Service. While we don’t foresee disruption of mail delivery, that scenario and decision are at the discretion of U.S. postmaster general.
In the event of disruption of our ability to deliver our print publications, it is our intention to provide updates and online content of the Graphic and Shopper on our website - www.lakecitygraphic.com. Full access to the Shopper is free to everyone, full access to the Graphic requires a subscription. Access to updates on the Coronavirus will be free online. People may subscribe or request full access through our website.
