Most excellent volunteers honored
The Lake City City Council presented The Lake City Award for Excellence in Volunteerism to six recipients at the Dec. 9 city council meeting.
The award “honors individuals for outstanding dedication to community service,” according to the meeting agenda. “This award recognizes their impact, leadership, and commitment to improving the community through selfless contributions. Awardees are volunteers and participate in benevolent activities purely for the community betterment.”
