Motorcyclist injured in deer collision

A woman was injured Monday, Sept. 11, when the motorcycle she was driving collided with a deer, according to the state patrol.
The accident took place at about 9:30 p.m. on Goodhue County Road 5 near the intersection with 335th Avenue.
The motorcycle was westbound when it hit the deer.
The driver, a 31-year-old Minneapolis woman, was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Lake City Hospital.
She was wearing a helmet.
