No make-up days planned for Lake City Schools

It’s been three weeks since students at Lake City Public Schools had a complete week of classroom instruction.

School was canceled Jan. 22 due to weather. Monday through Thursday, Jan. 28-31, were canceled as the polar vortex descended on the area. Icy conditions following the weekend melt kept students home Monday, Feb. 4.

In the past, depending upon how much flexibility was built into the school schedule, the district might be forced to add make-up days to the end of the school year.
