Two injured when motorcycle struck deer

Two New Prague residents were injured Sept. 5 when the motorcycle they were riding struck a deer on Highway 60 in West Albany Township, according to the Minneosta State Patrol.

The motorcycle was eastbound on Highway 60 at around 1:30 p.m. when it hit the deer just east of County Road 11, according to the state patrol.

The driver, a 55-year-old man, and passenger, a 53-year-old woman, both had injuries characterized as non-life-threatening and were treated at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
