Wabasha County infection rate rising

Data from Wabasha County Public Health shows that the number of new cases detected per day in the county ticked upward and has been consistently higher for a few weeks.

In the 40 days between June 1 and July 10, the tests confirmed about 0.436 cases per day. From July 10 to July 28, a span of 18 days, the number of confirmed cases doubled from 35 to 70, and the average new confirmed cases per day jumped to 1.94.

So far no one in Wabasha County has reportedly died from the disease.
