Years of data point to new fronts in fight against Lake Pepin sedimentation

Around 30 people who attended an open house Aug. 29 on research into pollution in Lake Pepin and upstream heard information that, while not necessarily new, was timely, according to Rylee Main of Lake Pepin Legacy Alliance (LPLA), which organized the event.
It’s long been known that Lake Pepin is filling in faster than it was before European settlement of the area.
