Alice Sprick obituary

Alice Sprick, 90, passed away at her home in Lake City on Sunday, September 15, 2024.
Alice was born on July 27, 1934 to Karl and Margaret (Mohr) Kehren. She attended Goodhue school and after graduation she attended cosmetology school. She married Fredrick Sprick on October 8, 1955 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bellchester, Minn. They lived and farmed in Lake City. Alice enjoyed her cows, cats, and dogs, never a lack of animals when you visited the farm and the coffee pot was always on. Alice was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Alice is survived by her sons, Thomas, Charlie, and Joe Sprick, all of Lake City; daughter, Doralee Sprick of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Brian (Cheri) Glander of Lake City, Cory Glander of Dubuque, Iowa, Todd Glander of Austin Minn.; her sister Jean (Jim) Hailing.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick; her daughter, Laura Glander; six brothers, Reno, Victor, William, Fritz, Nick, and Charlie; four sisters, Margaret, Frances, Marion and Hazel.
Family will hold a private service at the farm.
Alice’s family would like to thank the Mayo Clinic Hospice Nursing Staff for their care during this difficult time. Memorials are preferred to a charity of donor’s choice.
